  • Jesus
    • See / Renew / Reflect
    • Transformation – becoming a people of Character, distinct, exhibiting the Fruits of the Spirit
      • 2 Cor 3:18 – 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
      • Col 1:28 – 28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
  • Gospel
    • Two-Fold: Life, Death & Resurrection of Jesus and availability of God’s Kingdom here & now
      • Rom 1:16-17 – 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
  • Image
    • We live from the knowledge that we are, right now, already, a New Creation
      • 2 Cor 5:17 …if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away;… the new has come.
  • Scripture
    • Immerse ourselves in the Story – Points to Jesus
      • 2 Tim 3:16 – 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
      • John 5:39 – You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!
  • Community
    • Based on Jesus, His people & His Mission
      • Heb 2:11-12 – 11 Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. 12 He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praises.”
  • Love
    • Love God / Love Neighbor
      • Matt 22:36-40 – 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
  • Discipleship
    • We intend to be a community who makes disciples who make disciples
      • Matt 28:19-20 – 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
  • Mission
    • We are a family of Missionaries, living daily on Mission
      • 2 Cor 5:18 – 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.
